Washing

• First Wash: Always dry clean to protect hand-painted colors.
• Later Washes: Prefer gentle hand wash in cold water.
• Use mild, pH-neutral detergent.
• Do not soak for long and avoid scrubbing the painted areas.
• Wash separately to prevent color transfer.

Drying

• Dry flat in shade to avoid paint fading.
• Keep away from direct harsh sunlight.
• Do not wring; press water out gently.

Ironing

• Always iron on the reverse side of the dupatta.
• Use medium heat setting..
• Place a thin cotton cloth (like muslin) over the dupatta while ironing to protect the painted surface.

Storage

• Store in a cool, dry place, folded neatly.
• Fold neatly and wrap in muslin cloth (allows the fabric to breathe).
• Avoid plastic covers (they trap moisture).
• Refold occasionally to prevent permanent creases in painted parts.
