This 12-inch Panchdhatu sculpture captures Krishna in one of his most poetic forms — seated beneath the sacred Kadamba tree, flute in hand, radiating divine melody. The scene evokes Vrindavan, where Krishna’s flute enchanted not only the gopis but every element of creation, from rivers to trees to animals.
Sculpted through the ancient lost-wax process, the idol is first modeled in wax, cast in molten Panchdhatu (the sacred five-metal alloy), and then finely chiseled to bring out intricate details. The antique patina gives the sculpture depth and a timeless aura, enhancing the flow of Krishna’s ornaments, attire, and the textured leaves of the Kadamba tree.
